How to contact My Truck Buddy

For general inquiries or quick questions, please feel free to call me at 571.218.7455.
You can also e-mail me at chris@mytruckbud.com, although I would prefer that you call me after looking at the FAQ page for general questions. I need to cut back on the e-mail load, which is getting excessive because of the summer busy season.

How to request an estimate

Ready to request an estimate? Great! I tried to make the process as quick and simple as possible. Just click on the one of the links below that applies to the month in which you'd like to move. (Don't mind the date in the link -- it's a quirk of my website system that I haven't figured out how to remove). Fill out the form it takes you to, and I'll get back to you ASAP with an estimate. If you choose to go with us, I'll lock it in and we're good to go!

Note regarding the "Booking" Form: There's been some confusion lately about how I give estimates and book moves. In short, I use the "booking" forms below to capture the information necessary to give an estimate. There is no obligation of any kind once you've filled out the form. In other words, YOU ARE NOT "BOOKED" OR OBLIGATED FOR ANYTHING. The website content management system I use uses the word "booking" by default, and me not being terribly techie, I have no idea how to change that...yet.

(Please be sure to check the Important Notes below the Booking/Estimate links).

***July is now almost completely booked. Please consider taking a look at my Trusted Mover Network for moving assistance. ***

Note regarding rescheduling:
Please be advised that while I will gladly reschedule a move for you at no additional charge (for now--rescheduling is becoming a full-time job in itself), there is no guarantee that we'll be able to do so. Summer is extremely busy, and it's best to book and confirm well in advance.

Final Note: If you don't hear from me within 48 hours of submitting your request (beginning June 28, 2010), it means I was unable to help you on any of the dates requested. Until now, I've made it my number one priority to answer EVERYBODY'S requests, even if I couldn't fit them into the schedule. For now, at least in the summer months, that has to come to an end. I spend every "free" moment of the day processing requests in one way or another. I thank you for you so much for the positive response to our little service, but it's getting to the point that I never get to see my wife or two very young sons, or, even being able to do the many daily tasks of running a business. It's a serious problem. I hope to change this policy very soon, but for the time-being, this is the way it has to be.

To get an idea of what a typical summer month's availability looks like, here's a screen shot from my calendar. In other words, we're pretty well booked. (This is a typical month for us).
